Ground Beef Recipes: Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

A Colorful and Flavorful Ground Beef Delight

Break away from the monotony of pasta and rice with these savory stuffed bell peppers. Filled with a tantalizing mixture of ground beef, vegetables, and spices, these peppers are a feast for the eyes and the palate. They’re easy to make and perfect for a wholesome family dinner.


  • 4 large bell peppers, any color
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Olive oil


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, sautéing until soft.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  5. Stir in the mushrooms, spinach, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture into the hollowed-out bell peppers. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
  7. Top each pepper with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
